Here at Alex Comfort Living we also offer skilled nursing & wellness visits. This is where we have a licensed nurse come to your home and assess you as our client. This is done under a doctor’s order and involves advanced medical procedures and health tracking. We provide these skilled nursing home care and wellness visits with accuracy and consistency. They ensure all of our clients are being monitored and properly cared for.
How we provide skilled nursing and wellness visits
Slightly different from most of our other home care services. Our in-home skilled nursing and wellness visits focus on assessing you as a client, and handling the medical aspect of your care. It’s designed to compliment the regular home care you’re already receiving with us. We utilize all standard practices to be sure these medical goals are met. However, we also go the extra mile by combining kindness, respect and comfort to our clients. Some examples are:
- Providing wound care such as treating surgical incisions, pressure sores and more.
- Administering complex oral drugs or injections if necessary.
- Managing feeding tubes, ventilators and other medical support equipment.
- Checking vital signs such as blood pressure, weight and more.
- Check for early signs of memory loss, dementia, depression and more.

Our Process
All of our non-medical in-home care services follow a swift yet detailed process that’s designed to get your care plan started right away. But also to get a thorough understanding of your individual needs, and how we can accommodate them. Each step is executed to ensure you or your loved one feels safe, confident and as always comfortable in your own home. However, our skilled nursing and wellness visits follow a slightly different process.
Our skilled nursing and wellness visits home care plan goes as followed:
- Contact us for home care services for yourself or your loved one at 470-756-0337
- We set up a free consultation with you
- Our on boarding process starts
- You’re assessed by a licensed registered nurse (RN) or a Licensed practical nurse (LPN).
- You’re assigned a caregiver
- We create a customized service plan to meet your specific needs
- Your personalized home care begins
- You receive a wellness visit on the 60th calendar day
- Afterwards, you receive a wellness visit every 62 calendar days.
